Following a scenic rehearsal dinner aboard the Yacht StarShip, the wedding day unfolded within the hotel’s expansive Grand Ballroom, transformed into an enchanted sanctuary of deep berry tones, candlelit crystal, and shimmering gilded rentals.
Golden Hour Romance Along the Riverwalk Boardwalk
Ashley walked down the aisle in a magnificent strapless lace fit-and-flare gown from Allure Bridals, featuring a romantic sweetheart neckline and a dramatic ruffled organza skirt that caught the coastal breeze. Nick stood waiting in a sharply tailored classic black tuxedo, his face illuminated with joy as his bride approached to the stirring acoustic harmonies of live string ensemble Sunset Strings.
Captured with emotive documentary artistry by Richard Harrell Photography and Kemari Lyn Films, the sacred vow exchange was followed by sunset portraits along the hotel’s waterfront boardwalk. Surrounded by eight bridesmaids dressed in rich mulberry red gowns from Azazie, the bridal party radiated warmth against the blue waters of the marina as the Tampa sun painted the high-rise glass towers in brilliant gold.

Towering gold stands held lush mounds of deep crimson garden roses, magenta dahlias, quicksand roses, and trailing greenery that cascaded toward candlelit tables.
At each guest setting, gilded gold beaded charger plates framed custom navy menu cards, creating a rich visual rhythm throughout the ballroom. The sweetheart table stood under romantic pink and amber room uplighting from Gabro Event Services, offering Ashley and Nick an intimate front-row view of their beloved guests as dinner was served by the hotel’s culinary masters.
Live Event Painting, Five-Tier Cakes & A Sparkler Finale
Adding an extraordinary fine art heirloom to the evening, acclaimed live event painter Nancy Spielman captured the couple’s first dance on canvas in real-time, fascinating guests as the romantic ballroom scene unfolded brushstroke by brushstroke. The confectionery centerpiece was an architectural five-tier white wedding cake designed by The Artistic Whisk, featuring hand-painted gold leaf filigree, blush marble tiers, and sugar roses perched on a signature gold pedestal.
The dance party reached fever pitch as Orlando Dueling Pianos delivered an electric live interactive performance, taking song requests and leading the crowd in rousing sing-alongs. To conclude an unforgettable night, guests lined the outdoor Riverwalk holding glowing sparklers as Ashley and Nick made their grand exit into an L3 Limousine, capping off a downtown celebration that was pure Florida elegance.
