Embracing the rich artistic texture of downtown St. Petersburg’s historic Warehouse Arts District, Jennifer and Joshua crafted an unforgettable romantic industrial wedding at the Morean Center for Clay. Blending exposed red brick architecture and weathered industrial beams with soft candlelight, lush burgundy floral artistry, and complete event production rentals from Gabro Event Services, their celebration proved that raw urban spaces can radiate pure romance.

An Enchanting Indoor Ceremony Framed by Historic Brick and Floral Artistry

Looking for a setting that broke away from conventional hotel ballrooms, Jennifer and Joshua fell in love with the historic authenticity of the Morean Center for Clay. As one of the largest working pottery facilities in the Southeast, the venue’s soaring wooden ceilings and rugged exposed brick walls offered a striking textural backdrop for their intimate vows.
To soften the industrial masonry, wedding planner Kimberly Hensley Events installed a breathtaking circular floral arch lush with deep red garden roses, eucalyptus greens, and dark foliage. Jennifer glided down the polished concrete aisle in a lace gown featuring delicate illusion sleeves, meeting Joshua beneath the warm glow of suspended Edison filament lighting as close loved ones witnessed their union.

Industrial Sophistication, Custom Draping, and Romantic Candlelit Dining

Following ceremony vows, the expansive gallery space transitioned seamlessly into a candlelit banquet reception. Gabro Event Services played an integral role in transforming the open industrial layout into intimate dining vignettes, providing custom sheer wall draping that softened structural partitions while maintaining the building’s authentic warehouse charm.
Long wooden family-style banquet tables were set with sleek black Chiavari chairs, bringing contemporary architectural definition to the rustic brick setting. Dozens of glowing floating candles and rich burgundy floral runners ran the length of each table, casting a warm golden radiance across custom place settings and personalized artisan menus.

Suspended Bistro Canopies, High-Energy Music, and Midnight Celebrations

Above the dance floor, Gabro Event Services strung interconnected canopies of warm market bistro lighting that bathed the entire warehouse in an ethereal, starlit glow. Complemented by discreet wireless LED uplighting highlighting the historic brick alcoves, the ambiance shifted effortlessly from cozy dinner conversation into high-octane dancing.
Curated musical entertainment by Grant Hemond & Associates kept guests packed on the dance floor late into the evening. Combining thoughtful lighting production, architectural rentals, and the distinctive urban soul of St. Pete, Jennifer and Joshua’s wedding stood as a brilliant testament to bespoke warehouse wedding design.
