Constructed in 1919 as the Exchange National Bank, The Vault stands as one of Downtown Tampa’s most sought-after historic wedding venues. Boasting grand floor-to-ceiling windows, ornate architectural medallions, and the original steel bank vault door preserved in polished brilliance, the venue merges authentic Jazz Age heritage with sleek contemporary hospitality.
To complement the building’s grand scale, wedding coordinator Katherine Gow King collaborated closely with the design team at Gabro Event Services. Together, they designed an ethereal ceremonial environment that softened the neoclassical architecture while enhancing its dramatic vertical proportions, creating an intimate sanctuary within the soaring historic banking hall.
Sacred Vows Beneath Chandeliers & Sheer Draping
For the ceremony, Gabro Event Services erected a lavish floor-to-ceiling white chiffon pipe and drape backdrop that framed the altar in soft, romantic folds. Suspended above the ceremonial space, an exquisite crystal chandelier cast a radiant glow, mirrored by rows of modern clear acrylic ghost chairs and glass cylinder vases filled with floating candles that lined the aisle.
Officiated by Pastor Woods, the ceremony was filled with profound spirituality and tender emotion. Brittany walked down the aisle in a stunning lace A-line bridal gown featuring delicate illusion straps and an intricate floral bodice, carrying a cascading bouquet of white Phalaenopsis orchids and garden roses crafted by Gabro Event Services. Daniel met her at the altar in an elegant white dinner jacket and black tuxedo trousers, their vows echoing beneath the vault ceilings in an unforgettable service documented by Carography Studios and Imagery Wedding Films.
Downtown Arts District Portraits & Urban Glamour
Following the ceremony, the wedding party explored the picturesque streets of Tampa’s Arts District. The bridesmaids looked stunning in floor-length rich maroon gowns with varied necklines, providing a striking, warm contrast against the groomsmen in sharp black tuxedos and Daniel’s crisp white jacket. The architectural facades of Franklin Street and the neoclassical stone columns of The Vault provided timeless urban backdrops for bridal party portraits.
As evening settled across Downtown Tampa, guests enjoyed craft cocktails in the adjacent garden courtyard before returning inside to witness the grand banking hall’s seamless transformation into a lavish ballroom reception.

Inside the dining hall, tables were dressed in pristine white linens and encircled by transparent ghost chairs. To emphasize the room’s soaring verticality, Gabro Event Services designed elevated floral centerpieces atop tall glass trumpet vases, overflowing with white hydrangeas, blush garden roses, and dramatic cascades of deep maroon hanging amaranthus that trailed toward candlelit place settings.
The dessert station showcased an exquisite three-tier chocolate and vanilla ruffle wedding cake by A Piece of Cake, adorned with cascading handmade sugar roses and perched atop an ornate gilded cake stand. When dinner concluded, DJ Papi took control of the soundstage, delivering an infectious mix of Latin dance hits, hip-hop classics, and top-40 anthems that kept the dance floor buzzing into the early morning hours, celebrating an unforgettable wedding that celebrated love, elegance, and urban style.
