Lauren and Jeremy desired a wedding venue that fused rich architectural history with upscale metropolitan style. The Vault—originally built in 1919 as the Exchange National Bank in the historic heart of downtown Tampa—provided the ultimate canvas with its 35-foot vaulted ceilings, majestic floor-to-ceiling second-story windows, and original walk-in money vault.

To honor the grand neoclassical bank hall, the couple selected a dramatic color palette anchored in deep maroon, rich cabernet, clean bridal white, and shimmering metallic gold. The deep jewel tones injected instant warmth and romantic depth into the expansive stone interior, creating a captivating visual balance between classic Florida bank architecture and modern editorial wedding elegance.

Filling a colossal venue like The Vault requires decor installations with serious scale and precision. Gabro Event Services was selected to design and engineer full-room custom ceiling draping that cascaded gracefully from the 35-foot ceiling medallion down to the perimeter walls. The sheer ivory fabric dramatically accentuated the height of the space while simultaneously making the grand hall feel romantic and intimate.

Complementing the monumental drapery, Gabro deployed custom perimeter uplighting calibrated to enhance the stone columns and ornate plaster detailing. As twilight settled over downtown Tampa, the ambient glow illuminated the fabric swags overhead, bouncing warm light onto long banquet tables adorned with gold Chiavari chairs, maroon napkins, and tall crystal candelabras topped with cascading roses.

During cocktail hour and reception festivities, guests gathered near the monumental walk-in bank vault—now a world-class wine cellar and photo centerpiece—enjoying signature cocktails, gourmet cuisine, and personalized late-night treats. The central dance floor became an unstoppable party zone, with Gabro Event Services providing focused lighting that illuminated the couple during their emotional first dance and kept the room energized throughout the night.
