Sacred Cathedral Splendor: St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral
St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral stands as the architectural heart of Tarpon Springs, renowned for its golden Byzantine icons, towering neoclassical columns, and magnificent arched dome. Steeped in deep religious symbolism, the Nuptial service was officiated by Father Sampson. In accordance with Greek Orthodox tradition, Linzy and Michael participated in the crowning of the Stefana—delicate white floral crowns tied with a ribbon symbolizing eternal unity—followed by the sacred ceremonial walk around the altar table.
Dressed in an exquisite lace fit-and-flare bridal gown by Essense of Australia paired with a cathedral-length veil, Linzy was the picture of bridal grace. Michael stood beside her in a sharp black tuxedo, surrounded by eight bridesmaids wearing elegant floor-length navy blue gowns from Bill Levkoff. Captured with profound documentary intimacy by K&K Photography, the ceremony concluded with joyous family blessings before guests departed to celebrate on the waterfront.

Historic Tarpon Springs Coastal Charm & Golden Hour Portraits
Following the church service, the newlyweds explored the picturesque brick walkways and waterfront marinas of Tarpon Springs for romantic wedding portraits. Master wedding planner Jessica Ralph of Parties A La Carte coordinated the day’s transitions with effortless precision, ensuring the couple had dedicated time to savor golden hour by the water.
Against the backdrop of historic sponge fishing docks, gentle coastal waters, and Florida palm trees, Linzy and Michael shared quiet moments as husband and wife. Every portrait reflected a decade of shared memories, youthful devotion, and the joyous anticipation of celebrating with their extended families.

The Spanos-Pappas Center: Navy Linens, Silver Seating & Regal Draping
Arriving at the Spanos-Pappas Community Center, guests entered a reception hall completely reimagined through theatrical event design. Gabro Event Services installed sweeping white chiffon ceiling drapery across the entire length of the hall, drawing the eye upward and softening the expansive space into a romantic, glowing ballroom pavilion.
Guest tables were swathed in floor-length navy blue linens, encircled by gleaming Silver Chiavari chairs. Tall silver trumpet vases holding lush mounds of white hydrangeas, garden roses, and silver-sprayed eucalyptus from Bruce Wayne Florals added dramatic height to each tablescape. At the front of the ballroom, Gabro Event Services erected a tailored white pipe and drape backdrop behind the sweetheart table, illuminated in soft ambient uplighting.

Greek Folk Dancing, Bouzouki Melodies & An Unforgettable Celebration
Following an exquisite multi-course Mediterranean dinner prepared by Amici’s Catered Cuisine, the dessert display showcased a magnificent four-tier white wedding cake from Publix, accented with navy satin ribbon borders and a glittering silver monogram cake topper. Personalized stationery and day-of paper goods from UrbanCoast completed the cohesive table design.
The celebration reached an exhilarating peak when Grant Hemond & Associates kicked off the evening’s dancing, alternating modern American dance favorites with traditional Greek folk dances like the Kalamatianos and Hasapiko. Linzy and Michael joined hands at the center of the dance floor as guests encircled them, singing, cheering, and showering the couple with celebratory love. It was a proud, vibrant wedding that honored family, tradition, and lifelong love in true Tarpon Springs style.
