Housed inside a historic former train station and freight depot in the heart of St. Petersburg’s Warehouse Arts District, the Morean Center for Clay offers unmatched architectural soul. With its massive raw brick walls, soaring open rafters, and concrete floors, it is a dream canvas for couples seeking modern urban style.
The ceremony was staged before the venue’s iconic oversized freight doors, framed by floor-to-ceiling white chiffon pipe-and-drape that softened the industrial textures. Modern clear acrylic ghost chairs lined the concrete aisle, catching the soft directional light and giving the ceremony an ultra-clean, museum-quality feel.
Warehouse Dining: Warm Pine Farm Tables and Amber Glow
In the main warehouse hall, long solid pine farm tables were left unadorned to showcase the beauty of natural timber against the concrete floors. Tables featured textured neutral oatmeal linen runners, matte black stoneware, and modern black flatware.
Hundreds of taper candles in sleek black iron holders ran the length of each table, while warm amber uplighting strategically washed the historic red brick walls, transforming the industrial space into an intimate, glowing banquet hall.
