Built in the 1920s as a winter retreat for industrialist Powel Crosley, the Mediterranean Revival mansion stands as one of Florida’s most storied waterfront landmarks. With its hand-carved wooden doors, arched limestone loggias, and sprawling bayfront lawn, the estate offered an awe-inspiring backdrop for Sarah and Ryan’s destination celebration.
Gabro Event Services arranged the open lawn ceremony with dark mahogany Chiavari chairs, echoing the historic architectural woodwork of the mansion. The rich timber finish provided an air of timeless sophistication that complemented the gentle green expanse and the sparkling waters of Sarasota Bay.
At the head of the aisle, an organic wooden arbor adorned with delicate ivory draping and cascading wine-colored dahlias and blush garden roses framed the couple as they exchanged personal vows under the gentle Florida breeze.

Following cocktail hour on the scenic bayside patio, guests were escorted into the estate’s central courtyard and loggia for an intimate candlelit dinner under the twilight sky.
Gabro Event Services provided long banquet seating paired with dark mahogany chairs and gold beaded charger plates. The gilded chargers caught the dancing candlelight from antique brass candelabras, illuminating textured champagne linens and lush centerpieces bursting with burgundy ranunculus, quicksand roses, and wild eucalyptus.
