Perched sixteen stories above Clearwater Beach, the Sky Terrace at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa offers one of the most stunning open-air oceanfront venues on Florida’s Gulf Coast. With sweeping 360-degree views of turquoise water and the Gulf horizon, Sara and Alex exchanged vows in pure coastal glamour.
The couple selected a vibrant, joyful color palette that departed from conventional beach pastels, embracing rich fuchsia, vibrant magenta, and warm gold. 2Birds Events designed a lush floral installation that framed the terrace railing, featuring bright bougainvillea, pink garden roses, and tropical greenery.
As Sunset Strings played acoustic melodies in the sea breeze, guests were seated on gold Chiavari chairs from Gabro Event Services, watching the couple exchange rings against the backdrop of the shimmering Gulf.
Vibrant Magenta Linens and Golden Ballroom Glamour
Following rooftop cocktail hour, the celebration transitioned to the Hyatt’s Grand Ballroom, which had been transformed into a radiant pink and gold paradise. Rich magenta linens enveloped the banquet tables, establishing a vivid foundation that made the opulent gold rental pieces pop.
Gabro Event Services outfitted the ballroom with gleaming gold glass beaded charger plates, polished metallic flatware, and signature gold Chiavari ballroom chairs. Strategically positioned wireless LED uplighting along the perimeter walls cast warm pink and golden hues across the architectural draping, creating an immersive, romantic atmosphere.
Tall gold candelabras and lush low floral centerpieces from 2Birds Events added varied visual height, while delicate votive candles twinkled across every tabletop, casting warm reflections across the glassware and custom stationery.
An Unforgettable Sunset Reception Above Clearwater Beach
As golden hour approached, Sara and Alex slipped back out onto the Sky Terrace with Kéra Photography. The sky transformed into brilliant shades of violet, peach, and coral, providing a fairytale backdrop for romantic newlywed portraits overlooking the coastline.
Back inside the ballroom, Grant Hemond & Associates kicked off an unforgettable dance party. The custom monogram dance floor remained packed all night as guests celebrated under the glittering chandeliers and atmospheric uplighting.
