A Contemporary Celestial Vision: Elevating Angelic Motifs
When planning inspirational editorial concepts, event designers have the freedom to dream without boundaries. Collaborating with Carrie Wildes Photography Art & Design, Kabe Gabro, founder of Gabro Event Services, set out to challenge traditional pastel wedding tropes by creating a sophisticated, high-glamour interpretation of celestial elegance.
“We were inspired by angels for this styled shoot,” shared Kabe Gabro. “Most of the time angelic things are portrayed in cherub angels. I wanted to twist it up a bit with a more modern, sophisticated touch. The white draping feels like floating among the clouds, and the candelabras represent a royal, elegant essence that we wanted to portray.”
To bring this divine vision to life, the ballroom was bathed in a multi-layered palette of pure cloud white, luminous crystal, soft blush champagne, and rich ultraviolet uplighting, creating an otherworldly atmosphere that felt simultaneously intimate and majestic.
Opulent Tablescapes, Crystal Candelabras, and Dramatic Lighting
At the center of the reception ballroom, the dining tables showcased a masterclass in texture, reflection, and light. Towering five-arm crystal candelabras rose above cascading white hydrangeas and open garden roses, each arm bearing taper candles that cast a warm, flattering glow across the room.
Each place setting featured shimmering sequin table linens paired with heavy glass beaded charger plates, polished silverware, and delicate blush satin napkins. The reflective surfaces amplified the candlelight, creating thousands of sparkling focal points across the banquet space.
Precision pin-spotting from Gabro Event Services’ lighting team illuminated each crystal centerpiece from above, ensuring the floral details and candelabra facets shimmered brightly against the room’s dramatic ultraviolet ambient perimeter uplighting.
Architectural Lounge Seating and Bespoke Event Styling
Understanding that modern luxury weddings thrive on dynamic guest zones, Kabe Gabro designed a dedicated cocktail lounge vignette that echoed the shoot’s angelic sophistication. Curved white leather banquettes and tufted ottomans invited guests to relax in an elevated, club-style retreat.
Accented with metallic silver and blush velvet pillows, the lounge environment demonstrated how rental elements can define distinct spatial moods within a single grand ballroom without the need for permanent structural walls.
