When winter temperatures dipped across Tampa Bay for Meg and Steve’s January celebration, flawless logistics and full-service event infrastructure transformed an unexpected chill into an unforgettable, candlelit celebration. Pairing an ethereal ceremony at Harborside Chapel with an enclosed heated tented pavilion at Dunedin’s historic Fenway Hotel, Gabro Event Services built the couple’s dream reception space from the ground up.
A Light-Filled Ceremony at Harborside Chapel
For couples dreaming of a timeless church ceremony, Harborside Chapel in Safety Harbor offers an architectural sanctuary defined by lofty vaulted ceilings, crisp white shiplap, and luminous arched windows. Meg and Steve embraced a clean, monochromatic black-and-white aesthetic that complemented the chapel’s natural grandeur, welcoming 125 close family and friends.
The aisle was adorned with thousands of fresh white rose petals paired with glowing hurricane lanterns, leading to a simple, romantic altar. Captured with artistic precision by Carrie Wildes Photography, the couple exchanged traditional vows in an emotionally charged ceremony before departing down the petal-strewn aisle toward their coastal reception.

Golden Hour Coastal Portraits Along Dunedin Harbor
Transitioning to The Fenway Hotel in charming Dunedin, the celebration embraced Florida’s golden coastal light. Built in 1927 and celebrated for its Jazz Age architecture, The Fenway overlooks the calm waters of St. Joseph Sound, providing an authentic backdrop of swaying palm trees and sunlit harbors.
Meg wore an exquisite strapless gown from The Dressing Room featuring a sweetheart neckline and dramatic train, complemented by cathedral lace veil and effortless glam waves by Femme Akoi Beauty Studio. Steve donned a bespoke black tuxedo with satin peak lapels, epitomizing black-tie sophistication against the tranquil waterfront.

Building a Heated Party Pavilion From the Ground Up
With January temperatures dipping into the 50s, the outdoor reception required complete environmental engineering. Gabro Event Services stepped in as the structural backbone of the wedding, supplying a commercial high-peak party tent equipped with full perimeter cathedral-window sidewalls and commercial heating units to ensure every guest remained comfortably warm throughout the evening.
Inside the tent, the atmosphere was nothing short of magical. Romantic bistro string lighting and flowing ceiling drapery framed the centerpiece of the celebration: Gabro’s iconic black-and-white checkered dance floor. Positioned directly in front of a custom elevated band stage, the dance floor anchored the space with high-contrast vintage flair, inviting guests to celebrate into the midnight hours.

Modern Black & White Tablescapes with Gilded Accents
Under the direction of Seashine Weddings & Events, the tablescape design married crisp black-and-white minimalism with warm metallic accents. Floor-length white linens cascaded over round dining tables, accented by tailored matte black cloth napkins and gold-rimmed charger plates provided by Gabro Event Services.
Floral centerpieces by The Nature of Fire featured sweeping clouds of pure white baby’s breath surrounded by floating glass tea candles. As dusk settled over Dunedin, the candlelight reflected off gold chargers and crystal glassware, creating an intimate, cozy dining ambiance that Meg and Steve called the heart of their wedding.

From high-peak party tents, perimeter climate control, and custom band stages to timeless checkered dance floors and elegant tablescape rentals, Gabro Event Services provides complete end-to-end event infrastructure across Tampa Bay and Central Florida.
