Taking cues from television’s most iconic final rose ceremonies, the rooftop terrace was transformed into an ethereal sanctuary 16 stories above the Gulf of Mexico. Flanked by crystal-clear Chiavari chairs, thousands of purple rose petals, glowing candlelight lanterns, and chilled champagne, the setting set the stage for a heart-stopping sunset proposal.
The 16th Floor Sky Terrace Surprise
Perched high above Clearwater Beach, the Hyatt Regency’s Sky Terrace offers an unparalleled open-air vantage point with 360-degree panoramic vistas of the Gulf of Mexico and the Clearwater pass. Under the guise of an intimate sunset cocktail hour, Carrie was escorted to the rooftop, completely unaware of the breathtaking spectacle awaiting her.
As the elevator doors opened, she stepped onto a magnificent candlelit promenade designed by Gabro Event Services. Lined with hundreds of flickering glass pillar candles and crystal-clear Chiavari ghost chairs, the aisle guided her to the edge of the terrace where Ryan waited beneath the golden Florida sky.

Dozens of glowing glass pillar hurricane candles and tall lanterns illuminated the aisle, which was blanketed in rich purple and lavender rose petals by Braun’s Fine Flowers.
As the stars emerged over the Gulf waters, the couple celebrated with private champagne service and a romantic rooftop dinner, demonstrating how thoughtful event rentals and lighting design can elevate a personal milestone into an unforgettable cinematic memory.
