Designed in seamless collaboration with Anna of Taylored Affairs, the couple chose a restrained, organic color palette of warm ivory, champagne, taupe, and natural wood. Layered with dried pampas grass florals, hand-torn paper stationery, and custom indoor festoon lighting, the celebration brought a fresh, bohemian spirit to one of Tampa’s most iconic historic mansions.
Historic Elegance & Exposed Brick Ceremony Vows
Constructed in 1896, The Orlo stands as an architectural beacon in South Tampa, originally serving as the Spafford family residence before evolving into a premier gathering house. With authentic exposed brick walls, rich dark wood floors, and grand paned windows, the estate provided an intimate, character-rich backdrop for Taylor and Nick’s vows.
Love View Photography documented the emotional moments as the couple exchanged vows before an organic asymmetrical floral installation of dried palms and soft roses. The bride was breathtaking in a fitted botanical lace gown with a dramatic low back, framed by the venue’s warm brick interior.

The hallmark design feature of Taylor and Nick’s reception was an extraordinary custom lighting installation. “Gabro Event Services supplied our indoor bistro lighting, curtains with lighting, chairs, guest tables, and a sweetheart farmhouse table. They were amazing and helpful every step of the way!” the bride shared enthusiastically.

The ballroom layout featured a combination of round guest banquet tables and long natural wood feasting tables, providing dynamic movement across the space. Gabro Event Services outfitted the room with guest tables and seating, while anchoring the newlyweds with an artisanal solid wood sweetheart farmhouse table.
Behind the sweetheart table, Gabro installed sheer ivory curtain wall draping embedded with warm glowing fairy lights, creating an enchanting glow for dinner and speeches. With bespoke catering provided by Saltblock Catering and interactive memories captured by The Gala Photobooth, the evening proved to be an unforgettable showcase of thoughtful design and celebration.
