Set on the grand rear lawn overlooking Sarasota Bay, the ceremony embraced the natural beauty of the historic estate. To foster a feeling of intimacy among their 115 guests, the couple chose a ceremony in the round. Gabro Event Services provided classic white chiavari chairs arrayed in concentric circular arcs, ensuring every attendee enjoyed an unobstructed view of the vows.
At the center stood a four-post Jewish chuppah draped in billowy white sheer fabric and adorned with lush greenery by Monarch Events and Design. “We made sure that every decision we made felt authentic and focused on what was most important to us,” Natalie revealed. “We stayed minimalist with decorations on the chuppah to let the sunset and bay scenery shine, while our guests surrounded us on all sides.”
Having concentric circular seating not only unified the outdoor space, but also allowed the bridal party to enter through the center of their closest friends and family, creating an immersive, emotionally resonant ceremony atmosphere.

The couple captured romantic portraits along the estate’s 1929 Mediterranean Revival loggias, iron-railed balconies, and stone arches. Natalie wore an elegant modern crepe gown with delicate lace accents, while Joey donned a sharp black tuxedo with an orchid boutonniere honoring his late mother.
Over the central reception patio, Monarch Events and Design installed a breathtaking suspended floral chandelier overflowing with eucalyptus, Italian ruscus, white roses, and seasonal orange chrysanthemums. “Gabro Event Services did all of our rentals,” shared the bride. “They also strung the string lights over the patio and lawn and added Chinese lanterns for us. Having that warm glow over the entire space made the courtyard feel like an enchanted private festival where everyone felt at home.”
The commercial-grade bistro illumination provided functional brightness for dining while casting soft golden shadows across the Mediterranean facade, eliminating the need for harsh spotlights and preserving the romantic nighttime atmosphere.
