Sacred Syriac Orthodox Tradition & Downtown Tampa Elegance
The wedding day commenced with a powerful and reverent religious ceremony at St. Athanasius Syriac Orthodox Church. Framed by soaring architectural ceilings and crystal chandeliers, the aisle was lined with pristine white runners and modern planter boxes filled with frothy baby’s breath and pristine white chrysanthemums. A lively ceremonial drum processional set a celebratory tone, echoing ancient cultural heritage as Lexi walked down the aisle escorted by her parents.
The bride stunned in a custom Stephen Yearick couture ballgown from Truly Forever Bridal, featuring an off-the-shoulder beaded bodice, cathedral-length veil, and sparkling tiara updo styled by Femme Akoi Beauty Studio. Anthony complemented her regal bridal look in a bespoke black tuxedo with satin lapels. Following their joyful recessional captured by Lifelong Photography Studio, the wedding party transitioned to the heart of downtown Tampa for a night of metropolitan splendor.

To create an open, engaging reception dynamic, Special Moments Event Planning orchestrated long king’s banquet feasting tables bordering the ballroom, paired with classic round guest tables. Gabro Event Services lined each table with gleaming gold Chiavari chairs, infusing the vast room with warm metallic radiance.
At the center of the ballroom, Gabro installed an expansive, high-gloss white dance floor. The seamless white surface perfectly reflected the sparkling ballroom chandeliers and ambient perimeter uplighting, creating an inviting stage for the high-energy evening ahead. The tailored balance between crisp white surfaces and opulent gold accents produced an ambiance that felt simultaneously modern, warm, and utterly magnificent.
Luminous Acrylic Tablescapes & Sweetheart Floral Haven
The tablescape design was an exercise in dimensional luxury. Tall modern multi-tiered acrylic candelabras designed by Wonderland Floral Art towered over the feasting tables, holding delicate tapered candles that flickered above guest sightlines. Interspersed below were low-profile floral arrangements composed of pure white chrysanthemums, lush ivory garden roses, and fluffy clouds of baby’s breath, creating a dreamy, cloud-like atmosphere across the crisp linens.
Directly overlooking the white dance floor sat the couple’s lavish sweetheart table. Framed by a modern backdrop and flanked by dramatic cascading floor arrangements of white botanicals, the sweetheart table allowed Lexi and Anthony to take in the full grandeur of their celebration. Standing proudly near the ballroom entrance was the show-stopping wedding cake created by The Artistic Whisk. Rising six magnificent tiers, the design featured innovative floating cake tiers separated by clear acrylic risers, intricate hand-carved sugar crystal geode caverns, and delicate flakes of 24-karat edible gold leaf. It stood as a breathtaking testament to the couple’s daring vision—a wedding that honored heritage while redefining contemporary Tampa luxury.
