Choosing The Birchwood—a celebrated boutique inn situated along picturesque Beach Drive—the couple exchanged vows high above the bay on the panoramic rooftop canopy, framed by historic banyan trees and shimmering coastal waters.

The design palette merged soft dusty rose and blush tones with bold burgundy and deep wine accents, grounding the breezy Florida waterfront setting in timeless sophistication. As the golden hour sun dipped behind the city skyline, guests were treated to artisan cocktails and handcrafted hors d’oeuvres before descending into the Grand Ballroom for an evening filled with warmth, culinary delights, and lively celebration.

To realize Emily and Ryan’s dream of an immersive, intimate ballroom experience, Gabro Event Services worked in close concert with the creative team to curate an all-encompassing decor environment. Flowing ivory ceiling and wall draping was installed to soften the ballroom lines, adding architectural height and luxurious texture while establishing a secluded, romantic cocoon for dinner and dancing.

Complementing the tailored drapery, warm amber uplighting was positioned strategically along the perimeter, casting a flattering golden glow that bounced gently off mirrored accents, polished wine-colored menus, and lush floral centerpieces. Pin spot lighting crisply illuminated the couple’s sweetheart table, making the cascading wine and blush floral garlands the visual showpiece of the room.

Gabro Event Services shifted the ambient lighting into dynamic reception dance modes, keeping energy levels high as family and friends filled the dance floor to celebrate the newlyweds late into the evening.
