Founded in 1924, the St. Pete Shuffleboard Club is the oldest and largest shuffleboard club in the world, renowned for its retro charm, sweeping outdoor courts, and Spanish Revival architecture. The couple embraced this one-of-a-kind setting with a whimsical, romantic design featuring shades of soft peach, mint green, and lush botanical textures coordinated by Eventive.
Retro Charm & Mismatched Floral Whimsy
Setting a joyful, creative tone for the day, the bridal party broke traditional wedding conventions by donning charming mismatched floral-print midi and maxi dresses in pastel hues of mint, blush, and buttercream yellow. Against the historic whitewashed pavilions and iconic green courts of the shuffleboard club, the lively dresses introduced an element of vintage garden party delight.
The ceremony unfolded outdoors under the canopy of mature Florida palms and oak trees. Guests gathered on the lawn as the couple exchanged heartfelt personal vows, accompanied by acoustic melodies and gentle coastal breezes.

Indoor Ballroom Feasting & Open-Air Dancing
The evening festivities transitioned between the charming vintage clubhouse ballroom and the illuminated outdoor pavilion. Gabro Event Services provided the foundational event equipment, including banquet reception feasting tables draped in crisp white floor-length linens, overhead market bistro string lighting across the courtyard, and heavy-duty climate cooling fans to keep the dance floor comfortable throughout the Florida evening.
Tables were styled with watercolor peach menu cards and organic arrangements of garden roses, ranunculus, and eucalyptus by Cotton & Magnolia. With musical entertainment by Grant Hemond & Associates keeping the celebration moving, guests enjoyed delicious custom cupcakes from The Cake Girl and danced late into the warm downtown night.
